The NFL superstar, Tom Brady, and his lovely wife, Gisele Bündchen, have a perfect life. Both talented individuals achieved impossible stature in their respective fields. Brady was not the only one who faced challenges in his career, but his hard-working wife also rose from dark times. At the height of her career, Bündchen struggled with grave issues that almost overtook her life. She developed a fear of small spaces. The model would get anxious in a small cabin or room.

In an interview, she shared her sad experience. The claustrophobic experiences took place initially when she boarded a flight to Costa Rica. The plane started shaking. Bündchen felt uncomfortable as she always had her hold on every situation. However, this ingrained the fear of tiny spaces in her.

She said, “I would like, suffocate. I mean, it was crazy, like my world just kept getting smaller and smaller. I was in the hamster wheel going at 500 miles an hour.”

Modeling is a job that demands great physical and mental strength. Unfortunately, many young people succumb to the never-ending pressure of the industry. Bündchen, who saw many girls come and go in the industry, wanted to make an impactful mark. But that took a great toll on her mental state. The aspiring model never said no to any work. Also, she was younger than many other fellow models. She lived a fast-paced life where she found herself working non-stop.
The tiring experience was going to prove fatal when the model decided to take a dangerous step. She faced anxiety attacks. Bündchen lived on the 9th floor of an apartment building. Something dreadful came to her mind.

Recalling that situation, she talked, “That moment, when I was standing there and I had to stop living…I was trapped and I and I couldn’t breathe even outside of my own balcony. So I feel that, that I wanted to share that to show others am I going through similar experience. So there is the light in the end of the tunnel and from that moment on you know, I realized that my life need to change.”

The change that she desired
The model treated her body like a temple. Mindfully, she started meditating and doing yoga, which did wonders for her mind and body. She cut out sugar, caffeine, and wine and quit smoking.

Along with that, her relationship with the NFL GOAT Tom Brady provided her with a large contrast to her fast-paced and hard-working life. Brady provided her with a sense of calmness that she searched for all along. They truly make each other stronger and better!
