However, it worsens when your significant other attracts eminently more controversies. Patrick Mahomes and Stephen Curry, two of the most well-known athletes in the country, have met with similar misfortunes in the recent few days.

It’s not very new for Mahomes’ wife, Brittany, to face constant ridicule on the internet, even for the simplest of mistakes. However, for the last couple of days, the tides have turned, and the attention has completely shifted to Steph’s wife, Ayesha, for an event that occurred almost 2 years ago.

How does Patrick Mahomes’ wife come into the picture?

In a resurfaced clip from 2021, when Ayesha appeared in a reality segment called “Boss Lady Week,” she is seen pretending to remove her wedding ring after a muscular shirtless man was seen bringing refreshments for the guests. It seemed to be a harmless gesture, however, the fans took it to the next level and labeled her as an ‘L Wife’, furthermore, pitting her against Mahomes’ wife, Brittany, in a Twitter battle.

Fans from both the NFL and NBA worlds have come together to criticize Ayesha and Brittany for several reasons. Although Ayesha and Steph have been often labeled as a “couple goals” type of pair, the fans accused her of making repetitive mistakes only for seeking attention. However, Brittany also comes into the picture as she is also in the constant limelight for only negative reasons.

It has only been a few days since Brittany and Patrick visited Luke Comb’s music concert with some of the Chiefs’ players. She came under a lot of fire after posting a picture with her friend on her Instagram story and was even labeled “insecure” on the internet for constantly changing friends.

Moments after Brittany and Ayesha’s collage was posted on Twitter, with the caption, “Which athlete has the biggest L wife? Patrick Mahomes or Stephen Curry?“, the fans on the internet showered their opinion in the comment section.

While the fans rage on about the athletes’ wives, Steph and Ayesha have been really supportive of each other, and invested an ungodly amount of time in their philanthropy initiative “Eat Play Learn Foundation”, to give back to the community. The Mahomes are also constantly seen posting their offseason trips and adventures on their social media accounts. The NBA finals are over, but the NFL season knocks at the door. It can be said with certainty that Brittany will be seen courtside to support the 2X MVP and sweat it out in the playground in the upcoming season.
