

Stephen Curry recently won his fourth NBA championship when Golden State Warriors defeated Boston Celtics 103-30 and won the 7-game series by 4-2. Curry is the most successful basketball player in the league. He is also friends with Tom Brady who is the leading quarterback in the NFL.

The two have been spotted together many times and they don’t forget to congratulate each other on their accomplishments. But when did Tom Brady and Steph Curry meet for the first time?
Steph Curry during a press conference revealed about his and Brady’s first meeting and the conversation they had there. Curry revealed, “We’ve been Under Armour brothers for a while and I met him in 2014 at the Preakness out in Baltimore. We just lost to the Clippers in the first round. And so I had some free time and I went over and met him there.”
Steph Curry met Tom Brady in 2014 at Preakness in Baltimore. The Preakness Stakes is an American thoroughbred horse race that takes place at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, Maryland, on Armed Forces Day, which is also the third Saturday in May each year.

Curry in his first meeting with Brady, got to know about his competitive nature. They talked about sports and players from other leagues.

Curry further said, “Had a fairly decent conversation and a lot of it to your point was he seemed like he always was trying to pick up Nuggets himself on like other guys from different leagues and just that competitive fire seemed to you know even his middle of his offseason was still you could see it in his eyes so.”
In 2014, Brady was 37 years old and played for New England Patriots. He had already won three Super Bowls and was about to win the fourth for the 2014 season.

26-year-old Curry was named the league’s most valuable player for the 2014-2015 season. That year, Curry made a then-record of 286 three-pointers while leading the Warriors to an NBA-best 67–15 record.
