“You Have to Pick Between Kobe and Shaq” – Analyst Compares Kyler Murray and Lamar Jackson

We all know that Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal were an unstoppable pair back in the day. Both players won three NBA Championships between 2000-2002. The duo is widely regarded as one of the deadliest combos to ever play in the NBA. However, they had their own internal feuds.
The Lakers eventually opted to let O’ Neal depart for Miami Heat in 2002. They chose to stick with Kobe in the driving seat and won two more NBA Championships with the ‘Black Mamba’. A similar head-to-head battle is brewing in the NFL right now.
A certain NFL analyst opines that right now if he had to make a similar choice between Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray and reigning NFL MVP Lamar Jackson, he would go with the former. Murray has been terrific under Kliff Kingsbury in 2020.

“If Kyler Murray is the quarterback in this (Baltimore Ravens) team. I see them in the AFC Championship going toe to toe head to head with the Kansas City Chiefs because he does add that extra dimension. And this is not knocking Lamar Jackson at all. Sometimes you got to choose between Kobe and Shaq…you got to make these decisions.”
“And in making this decision if you were starting your team, Kyler Murray would be your guy. It’s not that I wouldn’t take Lamar. It’s just that what I’ve seen from them. Even with Lamar winning the MVP, if I had to put one at quarterback and say this guy takes ‘X’ team to the championship, I’d always pick Kyler Murray first,” Clark said on the show.
