Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow and WR Ja’Marr Chase are really leading their franchise to very interesting positions. The success they did bring to the franchise isn’t at all going unnoticed as NBA superstar Kevin Durant did give them their flowers. He was seen praising both of them during his Etcs podcast session and claiming Burrow to be the best QB this postseason.

The Brooklyn Nets player did confess his love for Burrow and his moments of magic on the football field. While talking about how much success Burrow will bring, KD states, “He is. He’s bringing a couple back to Cincy before his time’s done.” He also points out the LSU connection both players share and how great things are in store for the Bengals franchise.

He also gives Chase a huge compliment as he does believe the Bengals wideout to be one of the top receivers in the NFL in the next 10 years. Durant is not at all overestimating the achievements that this dynamic duo is capable of achieving when all is said and done.

The Bengals have really been a franchise that has done the time in terms of being not successful. It finally seems to be all worth it as the Bengals are now in an AFC Championship game. It will be for the first time since their 1989 season and both Burrow and Chase have been crucial.

Both players did have challenges and questions about them coming into the 2021 season. While Burrow was recovering from his ACL injury of last season and Chase entering the league as a rookie having sat out his college season. But both have gone on to answer all the questions with some aplomb. Burrow did throw for 4,611 passing yards for 34 TDs while Chase did record 1455 receiving yards for 13 TDs.

Their elite and record-breaking performances so early in their young careers have really been encouraging. But a big challenge does face them in the AFC Championship game as they take on the Kansas City Chiefs. Both Burrow and Chase will be looking forward to the challenge and eager to reach what will be their first Super Bowl weekend.
