The 37-year-old LA Lakers superstar took to Twitter to express his happiness about the thumping win of the Browns. Soon after the match, the NBA star posted, ” WOW BROWNIES!!!!!!!”, and his exciting response found a thumping reaction from the fans. NFL is an emotion in the US. Several athletes from other dominant sports, like basketball and golf, follow the games and express their views on Twitter.

King James has often stated in interviews that he follows football and has developed some new tactics in their game by watching the league. Talking in an early interview, the Akron-born MVP admits he grew up as a Dallas Cowboys fan. “I’m a hometown guy. I’m a Browns fan. I grew up a Cowboys fan, but I’m with the Browns. I think they are going to be really good this year. I’m excited,” says James.

The winner was undecided till the last minute of the clash. Both sides went inch by inch, to grab their first points of the season. However, it was a stunning 58-yard field goal by Cade York that made the big difference in the end. The rookie, who came to the game unnoticed by many, established his firm presence with that goal. Interestingly, it found a place in the record books too, becoming the longest field goal scored by a rookie.
