For the first time since 2004, the Wolverines have won the Big Ten Championship. In the buildup to the match, all eyes were on the air tight defense of Iowa and how it would be a mountain climb for Michigan. However, once the match started, all speculation went down the hill as the Wolverines played an immense game.

Not only did they score 42 past Iowa, they also ensured that the lethality of the Iowa offence was completely nullified. For example, Iowa RB Tyler Goodson was completely neutralised by the Wolverines defence as they stopped him from breaking out into the open field. Thanks to this, Iowa’s playmaking abilities took a hit and thus they weren’t able to score at all.

After last season, it was so tough, not just for us players but for Coach Harbaugh as well, and we know that there’s not one person who cares about Michigan more than Coach Harbaugh.”
