New England Patriots DT Performs Incredible Gesture for Brand New Parents

The New England Patriots defensive tackle Lawrence Guy and his wife Andrea made an incredible humanitarian gesture towards twenty underprivileged moms as they organized a massive baby shower providing more than $40,000 worth of products to the needy, through his Lawrence Guy Family Foundation.

New England Patriots’ 31-year-old DT has been an active philanthropist since Guy has worked with five non-profit organizations in Boston before. Lawrence established his own foundation in 2019, that is the Lawrence Guy Family Foundation. The organization works to provide resources and opportunities for financially disadvantaged families, aiding over 5,000 households in need through various initiatives.

Lawrence Guy becomes an NFLPA Community MVP of the week

To honor the humanitarian efforts of Guy, the NFLPA named him this week’s Community MVP, the NFLPA in addition will make a $10,000 contribution to his charity or foundation of choice. And with that Guy along with other 2021 Community MVPs, will be nominated for this year’s Alan Page Community Award, the highest honor an NFLPA could get.

“It’s an honor and a privilege to receive this award out of all the great community service that is currently being done in the NFL,” Guy said. “Giving back has always been a priority of mine, and I am so grateful to be able to have a platform to help others and raise awareness in areas that are in need. I will continue to impact the community that shows up for me every Sunday!”

Counting in one of his latest charitable programs, Guy held his 10th annual backpack giveaway, providing over 150 school going students with school supplies, snacks and Patriots gear before they head back to the classroom. His next charitable campaign is going to be held on Thanksgiving Day, where he will distribute 400 turkeys and boxes of food to families in need at Martin Luther King School in Worcester, Massachusetts.
