Critics argued that the 2020 NFL season will be a ‘nightmare’ for Bill Belichick’s New England Patriots. But two weeks into the season, it’s safe to say, they’re doing more than alright.
They started their campaign with a comfortable 21-11 win over Miami Dolphins in Week One. Cam Newton impressed during his Patriots debut striking a strong partnership with wide receiver Julian Edelman on multiple plays.
However, they suffered a narrow 35-30 loss to the Seattle Seahawks last weekend. Despite the defeat, the Boston-based outfit showed enough to strike optimism into the Patriots’ faithful.

Veteran NFL wide receiver, Julian Edelman, appeared on a Patriots talk show earlier this week. The 34-year-old wideout was quizzed about summer recruit Cam Newton. Here’s what he said in relation to that.
He said, “The more time you get to play with the guy, that’s usually when the relationship builds. We hung out a bunch, off the field here and there…I’m sure that helps you know. He’s a football player, I mean, he’s played a lot of football games, I’ve played in a lot of football games.”
