New Orleans Saints star defensive end Cam Jordan is looking forward to the Jameis Winston situation unfolding. He has been very vocal about the quarterback staying back with the Saints, but he has nothing in his hands. Jordan is just hoping to play alongside some of the great quarterbacks, Winston being one of them.
The New Orleans Saints have now entered the end of their contract with quarterback Winston. Jameis though saw a good start with the franchise earlier this season. He led the Saints to a 5-2 record but suffered a knee injury during his matchup against the defending champions Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The quarterback didn’t return to the field since then. Though he made good progress while rehabbing his knee, the Saints had to go by the rest of the season without the likes of their QB1. Now that Winston’s one-year contract has come to an end, the quarterback is exploring other options available, and the Saints are doing the same.
Cam Jordan on Jameis Winston situation
It is not for sure whether the 28-year-old will consider coming back to the Saints or not, but DE Cam Jordan certainly wants him to stay. Jordan, during his Pro Bowl interview, when asked about his thoughts on the Winston situation, replied:

“I’m probably more excited about what quarterbacks are going to be coming in, whether we can get Jameis back on the contract as he was playing at such a high rate. Or see what’s out there. I don’t know. Yeah, the future is uncertain. I better be a part of the future, though. That’s all that matters.”
