New York Giants QB Daniel Jones Rallies in Offensive Weapons for Throwing Sessions Ahead of New Season

The New York Giants entered the free agency market relatively quiet. But they made their intentions for the upcoming season clear by signing former Detroit Lions wide receiver Kenny Golladay to a four-year $72 million contract.
The Giants side struggled last season offensively. The team ranked 31st in terms of scoring, total yards covered, and first downs. The franchise with quarterback Daniel Jones desperately needed to make amends heading into the new season and the acquisition of Kenny Golladay is them doing just that.
But regardless of the talent available, every locker room needs a leader. And New York Giants QB Daniel Jones is looking to fit into that role.

No time to rest for the New York Giants
According to NFL insider Ian Rapaport, Daniel Jones is arranging a session with his offensive teammates to get some extra days in ahead of the new season.
Jones, who is organizing the entire meet up at a facility in Arizona has called upon his receivers and tight ends. Some offensive linemen too are part of the group, Rapoport added.

Apart from Golladay, Jones will also have the New York Giants’ new tight end Kyle Rudolph to target.
This will be the third season for Jones as a New York Giants player. And his first where his offensive coordinator is the same as last season.
Playing under former Dallas Cowboys Head Coach Jason Garrett’s offensive system, Jones will hope to excel and carry the franchise to the playoffs.

And the pressure will be on him. The Giants’ latest acquisitions have all been brought in to shore up to put an end to their offensive woes. Failure to do that even with big contract stars around him, and Jones could soon find himself fighting to keep his job.
Jones though clearly is making sure there is no repeat of 2020. The QB shows signs of maturity and leadership by organizing a separate training camp with his offensive weapons.
