Among all the NFL fandoms, the Jets seem to be the most excited, and they have a great reason for it. A team that hasn’t won a Super Bowl since the moon landing finally has hope, no thanks to the 4x MVP, Aaron Rodgers. During the training camps, there have already been sightings of several athletes and celebrities. The free agent RB, Dalvin Cook, and the famous Wu-Tang clan member were among those seen, making the training camps full of heartwarming moments.

Method Man, legally known as Clifford Smith Jr., also graced the team’s training camp on Tuesday. When he met the star QB, they exchanged not only wholesome interactions but also heartwarming moments, turning heads all around the community.

The iconic rapper from the Wu-Tang Clan made a journey from Goethals Bridge to New Jersey, in order to meet the new starting QB of his favorite team. Not just an avid fan, Smith is also a Jets’ season ticket holder, which allows him to attend all home games without any additional charges. A brief video of their meeting was shared on YouTube, where the singer can be seen head over hills for the star QB.

In the video, Rodgers and Method Man can be seen shaking hands and expressing their happiness about meeting each other. The rapper shares his excitement and confidence in Rodgers, saying, “I’m so happy that you’re here man, I know you’re gonna do your number for us, like you do.” He then proceeds to vocally show his appreciation, and ask if Rodgers would sign a Joe Namath jersey, also known as the only successful quarterback in Jets’ history. The star QB then signs the jersey while the rapper assists him with the spelling.

Not only did Method Man get Rodgers’ autograph, but the rapper also signed the 4x MVP’s practice jersey during the meet. Rodgers’ move to the Jets has been monumental, and he has made significant contributions to the team as well, adding to the fan hype.

Rodgers has paved the way for his team in mere months since his transfer. He recently agreed to a reconstructed deal with the team, taking a staggering $35 million pay cut. The Jets now can bring in players to the roster without worrying about the massive burden they previously had to bear. Rodgers always wanted to come to the Big Apple, and upon finally doing so, he does not intend to waste it. He also seems happy and contended with his transfer, intensifying the hype even more. Furthermore, he recently appeared in an interview where he revealed that most of the big moves in the team are always consulted with him, which is a big deal for him.

His undying passion for football has never changed, and it’s evident in his achievements. He led the Packers to a Super Bowl victory and holds more MVP titles than any other active QBs for a reason. This season could be a turning point for the Jets, and only time will tell if it’s actually their time to shine, with all these recent changes.
