Davante Adams is on his way out of Green Bay. The loss would affect Aaron Rodgers more than anybody else. But a veteran NFL analyst would beg to differ. According to Colin Cowherd, Rodgers and Adams did not have a relationship off the field. He even went as far as claiming that the quarterback was the reason Adams was driven out. 

The re-signing of Rodgers has been the biggest drama this offseason. Ever since the athlete said he wanted to explore other options, all eyes were on him. But recently, the wide receiver has stolen the show with his blockbuster deal.  

Tom Silverstein’s report on the relationship between Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams

Davante Adams has found a new home in Las Vegas. Aaron Rodgers is forced to find a new target. To cover all of these points, Green Bay Packers beat reporter Tom Silverstein made a report. He wrote, “Rodgers and Adams are tight on the field, but Adams is not a part of Rodgers’ inner circle. Randall Cobb and David Bakhtiari are, but Adams doesn’t run with that crowd.”

Silverstein also wrote about how Rodgers praised his wide receiver all year. He wanted to give his teammate praise and did not want to devalue his contributions. But we all know Aaron Rodgers loves the spotlight. No matter how hard he claims not to, the QB always wants to be the center of attraction. And at the end of last season, everything became about him. 

Maybe this is one of the reasons Davante Adams got out of Green Bay. The WR seems to be very excited about his future with the Raiders. He even became the highest-paid receiver in the NFL. 

Colin Cowherd reacts to Silverstein’s report

Whenever there is a controversial topic going around, we can always count on Colin Cowherd to address it. The veteran analyst reacted to the report by Tom Silverstein in the recent edition of “The Herd.” Cowherd said, “Aaron Rodgers all these years, can’t form a relationship with Davante Adams? His best teammate. You’ve got to be kidding me.”

He further adds, “When they played the Chiefs in the biggest game of the year, he wasn’t available. Nor, apparently, was he available enough to form a relationship with one of the hardest working guys in the league that also happened to be his most important teammate. They had no relationship.” Colin Cowherd believes that Aaron Rodgers had no relationship with Davante Adams. The duo was incredible on the field, but not so much in the outside world.
