NFL Analyst Brandon Marshall spoke on First Things First about the Buffalo Bills. He believes that the Bills are the only team that can match up with the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC.

“This is the only team that can contend with the Kansas City Chiefs right? I talk about their offense, what they can do offensively, and how they can keep up with the Chiefs.”

He added, “And defensively, they started out this season with some huge problems. Huge problems on the defensive line, they were beat up at the linebacker position, they were beat up at the quarterback position.

“They get healthier, Leslie Frazier gets hot and now you’re seeing a team that can contend.”

Josh Allen playing at a superstar level

Marshall believes that Josh Allen has been playing his best football and is a big driving force in the Bills’ form. “This is a really good team. Josh Allen looked phenomenal last night…

“This looks like a team that is ready to play ball, and that is going to be dangerous in the postseason. I really like what I’m seeing out of the Buffalo Bills. And I’m really liking what I’m seeing out of Josh Allen.”

Marshall talked about how well Josh Allen has overcome his challenges and obstacles on his way to becoming one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL today.

“This is a kid that was drafted in the first round, seventh overall pick in 2008. Coming in with so many question marks. Inconsistencies all over the board. But now, we’re looking at this kid as probably being a top-4 quarterback in the NFL.

“When you look at the numbers, he is completing more passes, his completion percentage is higher than Patrick Mahomes. He is right there from a QBR with Patrick Mahomes.”

He concluded, “This dude is phenomenal. If he can continue to protect the ball, the Buffalo Bills not only will be good in the playoffs but also for years to come because Josh Allen is that good.”
