Tom Brady is one of the greatest players in the history of the NFL. The Buccaneers’ quarterback is a legend, having won 6 Super Bowl rings. Additionally, he has shown himself to be one of the most durable athletes in the history of professional sports. At 43, Brady is still playing at the top level in the NFL and looks to lead the Buccs to the Super Bowl.

NFL analyst Emmanuel Acho spoke on Speak for Yourself recently. He believes that Brady’s performances in the regular season are not enough for him to be considered a success for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
He believes that Brady has not done anything in the regular season that we haven’t seen from Brady in the past.

“The only way that Tom Brady can be seen as a success in Tampa Bay is if they have masterful and major playoff success, not just one playoff win.
“The last decade for Tom Brady, he only won 11 games. That means he won 12 or more games for every year except for 3. This year he won 11 games, so that’s not successful, comparing Tom Brady to Tom Brady.”

Acho further illustrated through statistics how Brady’s season has been unremarkable compared to the past. “If on average he wins 13.3 games, but this year he only won 11, that is not successful.
“Now, Tom Brady didn’t set a career-high in touchdown passes, didn’t set a career-high in completion percentage, didn’t set a career-high in touchdown percentage.”

Tom Brady needs major playoff success with Tampa Bay
He believes that Brady can be a success in Tampa Bay if he plays like Brady of the past when it matters; the Playoffs. The expectation whenever Brady plays is that he leads his team to the Super Bowl.

Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers take on the Washington Football Team as part of their Wild Card fixture in the Playoffs. The Buccaneers and Brady will fight to reach the Super Bowl this year, which is being played in their backyard.
