NFL Analyst Says Buccaneers’ Tom Brady and Bruce Arians Sought to Resolve Differences

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been the subject of major controversy in recent weeks. The relationship between star quarterback Tom Brady and Head Coach Bruce Arians has been the topic of discussion for many NFL analysts and fans.

The two have been at odds with each other since Brady landed in Tampa Bay. But it appears as though they are trying to get on the same page.

NFL analyst Ian Rapoport reported that Arians and Brady were going to use this bye-week in order to settle their differences.

“With a much-needed breather in Week 13 after two straight losses, Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians and quarterback Tom Brady had a plan to take advantage of the bye week — golf.

Rapoport noted that the relationship clearly hadn’t reached a point of no return, as both parties were willing to indulge in some bonding activities in order to resolve their issues.

Despite the controversy and hysteria surrounding their relationship, Arians and Brady still think there is more for them as head coach and quarterback, respectively.

“…Arians and Brady clearly like each other enough to anticipate two or three days of bonding over golf…That was the thought, with the two of them scheduling 36 or 54 holes.”

However, their plan to play together was canceled by the league due to concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic. The NFL feared what implications it could have on them, the franchise, and the league as a whole.

Therefore, with the safety of everyone in mind, the league stepped in. “The only problem was that the league stepped in and nixed the idea, a source said.

However, it appears as though Brady and Arians spent the bye-week working together, watching film of the games during the season. It seems like Brady is trying to understand what exactly Arians wants out of him in order to deliver his best.

It remains to be seen if Brady and Arians can get on the same page. One thing is for sure; if they can get on the same page, the Buccaneers will surely improve as the season goes on.
