The Baltimore Ravens will be looking to build on their success last season. Lamar Jackson was able to win his first playoff tie last season as the Ravens defeated the Tennessee Titans in the 1st round of the Playoffs.

However, they weren’t able to get past the Buffalo Bills. But there were signs of progress and promise within the Ravens franchise.
NFL analyst Kevin Wildes spoke on First Things First recently. He believes that the Baltimore Ravens need to plan better around Lamar Jackson.

As of now, they have lost of lot players in the off-season. And while Lamar Jackson hasn’t come out in the open about the players he wants, it would be in their best interest to sign some strong weapons for the team.

“I’m going to go with the Ravens. They’re losing defensive players and they lost Mark Ingram, who wasn’t doing a ton. But they lost him to the Texans.

“Lamar hasn’t been super vocal about wanting more weapons. It’s not a fire yet, but there’s just a kid over there playing with matches. Let’s just not do that right now.”

Lamar Jackson needs more help in Baltimore
Wildes believes that the Baltimore Ravens should start bringing in some new players. Lamar Jackson is an elite talent, and the Ravens can use him effectively with the right squad.
He called on the Ravens to be more aggressive in the off-season currently. And while bringing free-agents to Baltimore is tough, it is what the situation calls for, and the Ravens should be more aggressive.

“Get Lamar the weapons that he needs to be successful. I want to see the Ravens be far more aggressive. Now the problem is, I don’t know if free agents want to go to Baltimore, where you’re going to watch running backs run the ball and Lamar run the ball.”

Can Lamar Jackson lead the Ravens to a Super Bowl? Jackson has shown that he can perform at an elite level, having won an MVP title previously.
But he needs proper reinforcements going into the next season if the Ravens wish to have any major post-season success. But given the competitiveness of the NFL right now, even that could not guarantee success for Baltimore.
