NFL executive Troy Vincent revealed the location for the 2022 NFL Combine. One of the most exciting nights for fans and players, the Combine presents the opportunity for teams to scout future superstars. This year, the Combine will remain in the same location as it has for the past eleven years. However, there’s exciting news for the 2023 Combine.

The NFL Combine involves athletes from colleges, high schools etc coming to Lucas Oil Stadium to perform a set of physical and mental tasks. These tasks lead to a professional division one football contract with a top NFL franchise. The best performing athletes get picked very high during the NFL Draft.

These include; 40-yard dash, bench press, vertical jump, broad jump, 20-yard shuttle and more. It concludes with a drug screen and two mental tests – the Cybex test and Wonderlic test. Passing these will get a college footballer into the upper echelon of athletes who would get drafted by an NFL franchise.

Since 2009, the Combine has taken place in Indianapolis, drawing the ire of many fans. Lucas Oil Stadium hosts the event annually, and they will continue to do so in 2022. However, the 2023 NFL Combine will potentially take place in a new city. While Indianapolis is still in contention, Los Angeles and Dallas have also thrown their names in the hat.

Los Angeles has emerged as a hotspot for football, with both their teams killing it this season. And, they also have adequate facilities, top-notch weather and an undisputed drawing factor that athletes wouldn’t want to miss out on. On the other hand, Dallas would be another brilliant location for the Combine, with its own set of attributes.
