One of those admirers was the Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey. Although social media was flooded with myriads of comments and tweets, the one made by Ramsey stood out. Brady met the Rams in the Divisional Round of the season. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost to the Rams, making it the career-ending game for the GOAT.

Listening to the news about Brady’s retirement, the Rams defensive back hilariously yet humbly reacted about the quarterback throwing his last touchdown pass against him. And whether he’s bothered by it, Ramsey will be seen as the one trailing in the video for generations to come.

“The best QB of all time retired, DANG… he threw his last TD on me,” the cornerback tweeted, concluding with a laughing emoticon. The play in question happened at the end of the fourth quarter, during which the quarterback connected with the wide receiver Mike Evans for a touchdown. Being a cornerback, Jalen Ramsey is paid to stop such plays happen, yet he openly jokes about it since that became the last play for Tom Brady.

The cornerback, however, admires the GOAT so much that he loved against Brady. “You’re the G.O.A.T. for real. Appreciate you,” Ramsey said. Jalen, after defeating Tom Brady, will now meet the Cincinnati Bengals for the Super Bowl in the SoFi Stadium.

It has been a remarkable season for him, and to be a part of the last matchup of Tom Brady will certainly be a memorable souvenir for him throughout his life. However, it is going to be even more memorable for him if he claims the Super Bowl too in the same season.
