The 2021 NFL Draft is scheduled to begin on April 29th and will go on till May 1st, 2021. It’s no secret that coach Matt Nagy and his organization are on the lookout for a quarterback this year after cutting ties with Mitchell Trubisky.

“We just talked football for an hour straight. That’s the best type of meeting for me….Hopefully, I’ll get a chance to talk to them more and see where that relationship goes,” Jones said via Chicago Tribune reporter Dan Wiederer.

They also missed out on Matthew Stafford, Carson Wentz, and even failed with a bid for Russell Wilson this summer. With only Nick Foles and Andy Dalton left on their roster, the Bears could be in the mix for a young quarterback in 2021.

The 22-year-old youngster is also reportedly of interest to coach Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots. Jones has been labeled as the ideal ‘system quarterback’ and is highly rated in terms of his work-rate and passion for the game.

There’s no shortage of suitors for the youngster, but only time will tell where the Florida-born youngster will land.
