The 74-year-old former quarterback with the Steelers announced his battle with cancer recently after fans noticed him struggling with his health. Terry Bradshaw has had multiple instances of breathlessness, cold and fatigue on Fox’s NFL Sunday show. And fans think it’s time for the original TB12 to permanently give up his broadcasting job. Bradshaw clarified all doubts when he said that he won one battle with bladder cancer only to be diagnosed with a rare type of skin cancer called Merkel Cell Tumour.

Terry said that he had initial neck pains and soon, his worst fears were realized. However, Bradshaw is a fighter. The Pittsburgh Steelers legend won four Super Bowls in a span of 6 years between 1974 and 1980 with the black and gold army. And despite his attempts to carry on years after retirement, father time has finally caught up with Terry.

Terry Bradshaw might have to miss the ‘Immaculate Reception’ anniversary

Terry Bradshaw has a lot of things working against him at the moment. The QB and broadcaster had his own reality television program on E! Entertainment Network. Centred around Terry and his wife and three daughters, The Bradshaw Bunch has now been cancelled after only two seasons owing to Bradshaw’s deteriorating health. Fans prayed for the legend’s quick recovery.

Bradshaw has had episodes of his cancer showing up during many Fox NFL Sunday episodes until he had to address it on the show. However, his Fox incidents and his TV show getting cancelled are not the foremost things on Bradshaw’s mind. That has to be the Steelers’ Immaculate Reception’s 50th-anniversary celebrations. Franco Harris’ magical catch to win 13-7 against the Oakland Raiders constituted one of the NFL’s greatest plays. But TB12’s recent health hiccup while announcing NFL highlights halftime report had fans thinking that Bradshaw should only think about a vacation at this point.

Pro Football Hall-Of-Famer Bradshaw recently made his way into the Sports Broadcasting Hall of Fame. For the longest time, Terry Bradshaw hid his illness from his family and the world because he didn’t want any pity. The once iconic QB said it aptly in an interview with TODAY. “Cancer doesn’t show any favoritism,” Terry noted. However, he is now doing better with everyone’s wishes and his wife Tammy’s support. Bradshaw is recovering after finishing successful treatment at the Yale University Medical Center and MD Anderson Cancer Center.
