However, the Miami-Wade Police department’s statement shed the necessary light on the matter. According to the county’s official report, Odell Beckham Jr. was “coming in and out of consciousness” and refused to wear the seatbelt. “Fearing that Mr. Beckham was seriously ill,” the officials said, “the attendants called for police and fire rescue.”
