One simply cannot mess with the quality of the product. The National Football League will not tolerate anybody who tries to tarnish the legacy and reputation of the league. The NFL will finally be investigating the Cleveland Browns after some controversial allegations by their former head coach.
According to the reports, Hue Jackson revealed that the organization pushed him to purposely lose games. This type of match-fixing is simply not acceptable in the NFL. The league will get to the bottom of this. They had hired a law firm that will conduct an independent investigation.

Did the Cleveland Browns purposely lose under Hue Jackson?
Brian Flores’s lawsuit against the NFL has shaken everything in the league. The former Miami Dolphins head coach revealed that the owner Stephen Ross forced him to lose games in 2019. Ross even offered Flores a $100,000 incentive per loss. It seems like Flores inspired the former Cleveland Browns HC to come forward and speak out.

Hue Jackson revealed in February that the Browns also pressurized him to lose games. Jackson was the head coach of the franchise from 2016 to 2018. He did not have an impressive record. Jackson went 1-31 in his first two seasons and was fired in the middle of the third season. The former HC revealed that he was on a four-year plan, and the owners offered him insensitive to lose.

“I told [Jimmy Haslam] that what he was doing was very destructive, to not do this because it’s going to hurt my career and every other coach that worked with me and every player on the team,” said Jackson. “And I told him that it would hurt every Black coach that would follow me. And I have the documents to prove this.” Many former Browns players have backed up Jackson and his claims.
The NFL launches an investigation against the Browns

The Cleveland Browns have denied the allegations by Hue Jackson. Mary Jo White is leading the investigation. White is also investigating Brian Flores and his allegations against the Dolphins.
The NFL has been investigating Hue Jackson's claims that the #Browns provided incentives for him to lose games in 2016 and 2017. The Browns were 1-31 in those two seasons.
The Browns say they welcomed the investigation and are confident the results will show no wrongdoing.

“The review is ongoing and is expected to conclude soon,” an NFL spokesperson wrote in a lengthy email by the league. The investigation is in full force. Browns’ owner and everybody involved will be in big trouble if the allegations are true. Jackson is currently in his first year as a college football HC. He is coaching at Grambling University.
