The Browns have choices if Watson gets suspended but the rumors surrounding Kaepernick have started an interesting conversation. Is the QB good enough to replace Watson considering that the former Niner has not played a competitive snap since 2016? Even though Kaepernick worked out with the Raiders and trained in the offseason, there is no guarantee that his prowess remains at the same level as it was six years ago.

Moreover, NFL insider Adam Schefter sheds light on the rumors with a one-liner tweet. He writes, “False. This hasn’t been reported by me.” Thereby crushing the rumors of the former Niner playing a snap in the Browns jersey.
