The 3rd year quarterback’s performance obviously warrants him a new contract. A big one at that. And according to the NFL insider Ian Rapoport, the Bills are set to make their move this spring or summer to seal Allen’s future at Buffalo.
Many believe that Allen, who is still on his rookie contract, has earned himself a big-money contract for his performances over the season.

With 38 passing touchdowns 4,500+ passing yards, Allen has played a crucial role in the Bills’ successes this season.
The QB drafted from Wyoming has also been a threat on the ground. With over 400 rushing yards and 8 rushing touchdowns, Allen is one of the best dual-threat quarterbacks in the league.
Allen’s performances haven’t gone unnoticed. Thanks to his heroics over the course of the regular season, Allen led his Bills to a 13-3 record. He also recently got named in the second-team All-Pro for 2020.

Case in point, Patrick Mahomes. The Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl-winning QB became the highest-paid player in the entire league on the back of a 10-year-deal which will see him earn $45 million a season.
Even Carson Wentz of the Philadelphia Eagles signed a 4-year-deal with the franchise worth $128 million in total earnings.
Allen’s stock could surge even further if the Bills manage to make a deep playoff run this season. But regardless of the Bills’ postseason performance, one can expect Allen to sign a contract running into 6 figures when he decides to do so.
