The Dallas Cowboys endured a rough 2020. With their defense in shambles and their offense looking toothless, America’s Team finished last season with a 6-10 losing record.
And perhaps the biggest reason for the Cowboys’ plight last season was the absence of star quarterback Dak Prescott. Prescott, who started the season in hot form suffered a compound fracture to his leg during the side’s Week 7 tie against the Washington Football Team.
With Dak sidelined for the season, the otherwise feared Cowboys offense failed to get going under backup QB Andy Dalton. There were issues regarding Prescott’s long-term future with the franchise as well.

After staying away from the field for more than nine months, Prescott underwent rehab to finally turn up for the franchise’s training camp ahead of the 2021 NFL season.

“Cowboys QB Dak Prescott is expected to practice on a limited basis today, per source. Prescott has thrown several times on the side in recent days, but this will be his first time working in with the team since he felt soreness in his throwing shoulder July 28,” he tweeted.
With Prescott set to take take part in practice again, the next question would be when he can return to full training. It’s unlikely that the Cowboys will take the risk of playing Prescott in any of their remaining preseason games.
