The reason he predicts so is that many sources and media outlets speculate this could be his last season. Also, considering his news of retirement and then un-retirement shows, he may be close to hanging his jersey.

Also, the mysterious 11-day hiatus from the training camp had a choke hold on people. Many thought Tom Brady went on an exotic vacation to the Bahamas with his wife, Gisele Bündchen. Or that he will appear on a reality television show. And after his return to the practice sessions, he explained in a press conference that the leaves were personal.
“You know, everyone has got different situations they’re dealing with, so we all have really unique challenges to our life. You know. I’m 45 years old, man. There’s a lot of s*it going on,” said the 45-year-old shot-caller.
Tom Brady hinted at his retirement in an interview
Tom Brady appeared in an interview with Variety. They photographed him in a sharp suit and with sleek hair. In the interview, Tampa Tom answered questions relating to his production company, clothing line, and the reason why he retired back in February.

Specifically answered a question if he was done playing football. He said, “I really don’t. I would say it’s year to year: Could this be my last year? Absolutely. Could I change my mind? Absolutely. I’ve realized I don’t have five years left. I want to do it my way. I want to give it everything I got and see where I’m at. My body feels really good. I’ve had a lot of traumatic injuries over the years, but if things go really smoothly and we win, that’d be great.”
The seven-time Super Bowl winner has a spot fixed for him at Fox Sports. He signed a lucrative deal as a sports broadcaster. The deal is worth a whopping $375 million.
