The Super Bowl LVII and the playoffs this year weren’t the only times that the words ‘NFL is rigged’ trended on Twitter. The topic resurfaced recently. However, this time it was about another Super Bowl. And it’s Antonio Brown in the middle of all the drama.

The former Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Steelers wideout recently posted a video where controversial rapper Kanye West claimed that Super Bowl LV was, in fact, scripted. 3x Pro Bowler Dez Bryant shockingly agreed to Brown and Kanye’s wild hypotheses.

Is Antonio Brown calling his own ring scripted?

AB formed a vital part of the Tom Brady and the Buccaneers’ offense during their title run in 2021, ultimately overcoming Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. However, Brown may be calling his own success scripted after Kanye claimed to know certain things about Tampa’s win.

I see Mahomes throw that game. It’s because of some bipolarity, but I can see it on his face. In a couple of passes. And I knew the conversation. ‘You got a long career ahead of you. We need our boy to get 7 rings.’ And I love Tom Brady too. So I’m torn. I see him throw a pass. And It looked like Christian Laettner running up the field, slow to me,” Kanye said. And AB agreed as he captioned the reposted video, “Moonwalking with Mahomes.

Guess this season was Mahomes’ compensation,” one fan commented. “NFL is rigged. Somebody leaked the score of the Super Bowl last week and it was the exact 38-35 score,” one fan wrote, probably referring to this Nate Burleson prediction.

Oh, so your ring is fake too then AB,” one sensible fan asked. “These refs are outta control. NBA too. They always wait till the last second to make a ‘bs’ call,” one disgruntled fan said.

This year’s ‘Super Bowl rigged’ moments

After watching this year’s 38-35 win for the Kansas City Chiefs over the Philadelphia Eagles, former Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant formed a similar opinion as Kanye.

The Chiefs got a holding penalty in their favor during the final 2 minutes of the Super Bowl when James Bradberry handed the first down to Kansas City. Fans were not happy with this call and in came the scripted talks. The final-minute 15-yard penalty to the Cincinnati Bengals was another time that fans thought that this season’s script was written for Patrick Mahomes.

I’ll be lying if I didn’t say something similar. That was an obvious fixed game. Truthfully, some of the things we all love can be corrupt. Ain’t no such thing as a fair game. You gotta find your cult because this world shares so many dishonest perspectives,” Dez commented on AB’s post.

However, the NFL released some official footage to resolve the issue once and for all. And maybe Eagles’ fans can pipe down and the “scripted” rumors can finally end.
