Consequently, Djokovic shared Brady’s retirement announcement post on his Instagram with a heartfelt quote. Athletes who have played the sport at the highest level know the pressure and stress their bodies go through. In addition, Djokovic respects Brady because both the athletes have a similar career length.

Sharing Brady’s retirement post on his Instagram story, the Tennis legend said, “Absolute legend! Thank you for all the inspiration.” Back in February this year, the GOAT remarked that he is not feeling the spark to commit 100% to the sport at this age. Hence, announcing his retirement.

On Instagram, Tom Brady expressed his concerns about his health and energy to play the sport. He said, “There is a physical, mental, and emotional challenge. EVERY single day that has allowed me to maximize my highest potential. And I have tried my very best these past 22 years. There are no shortcuts to success on the field or in life.”

Moreover, he added, “This is difficult for me to write, but here it goes: I am not going to make that competitive commitment anymore. I have loved my NFL career, and now it is time to focus my time and energy on other things that require my attention”.
