Russell Wilson was traded to the Denver Broncos at the start of the offseason. He is coming to Denver with high expectations, as their roster is pretty good, and they just needed a skillful quarterback. He has a very tough competition within his division itself, as all four teams are quite competent.
According to NFL Legend Maurice Jones-Drew, a rival quarterback of Wilson is better than him. Jones-Drew has claimed that the quarterback of the Las Vegas Raiders, Derek Carr, is better than Russell Wilson.

The Broncos have a pretty good team, but getting Russell Wilson won’t guarantee you a Super Bowl immediately. Jones-Drew claimed that Carr is better because he has consistently played better than Wilson for the past few years.
However, this is because of various factors. The Seattle Seahawks haven’t been good for the past few years. Their O-Line was bad, and it had a bad impact on Wilson. The situation in Denver is very favorable to Wilson. Maybe he can return to the form of past years, and many people want to see that.

The fight in the AFC West is going to be pretty special in the upcoming season. Russell Wilson will finally be on a new team, and it will unleash the best version of him. The question is, can he have a better season than Derek Carr?
