Deion Sanders has been a survivor when it comes to football. He has survived his way to the top as a football player and an exceptional athlete in the NFL. However, when it comes to surviving in the wild alongside an expert like Bear Grylls, the former cornerback had his moments of struggle.

The survival expert and ‘Man vs. Wild’ star Bear Grylls, during his recent appearance on The Rich Eisen Show, hilariously revealed that Deion is not suited for the wild. The two celebrities went on a “glamping” trip together in the first season of Running Wild with Bear Grylls. But it was not an all-good experience for the football legend.

“Prime Time was truly unsuited to the wild,” Grylls said hilariously. “And I think he would say that by his own admission. I love that man, and we had so much fun and still to this day. You know, somebody sent me an interview, he did recently, where some people were kind of ripping him about that trip. And going ‘Prime you were amazing you were brilliant, but you were crazy.'”

However, adding to that, Grylls also mentioned how Prime Time never gave up despite hanging on to the task of climbing a thousand-foot mesa in Utah. But despite having pretty bad vertigo, Sanders stuck to it. The survival expert lauded the adventurous spirit of Sanders. He mentioned that though he had no adventure skills or experience, he certainly showed off his spirits.

The two-time Super Bowl winner and 1994 DPOY, does not have a taste for wilderness, but he certainly knows how to dominate the gridiron. The much loved Prime Time is someone many celebrities want to hang around with including Rich Eisen and Bear Grylls.
