Sharpe analyzed the potential of DeAndre Hopkins joining other teams as well, such as Buffalo, Arizona, or Baltimore, who may be in need of a star receiver to push them toward championship contention.

However, Sharpe noted that negotiating a new deal for Hopkins might not be an easy feat, as he already has a substantial contract and is nearing the end of his career at 31 years old.

But just yesterday, Hopkins posted on Instagram using lyrics from Bob Marley’s song ‘Buffalo Soldier,’ hinting that he wants to be a part of the Buffalo Bills. Bayless speculated that Hopkins may be signaling his desire to join the Bills and become their “soldier.”

Drawing from his own experience as a long jumper and triple jumper, Sharpe explains that just as he could never jump like Carl Lewis or Mike Conley, he cannot jump to the conclusion that Hopkins wants to be a Buffalo Bill simply because he’s playing ‘Buffalo Soldier’.
