The Tampa Bay Buccaneers faced an utter shock after the seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady called it quits from the NFL career. After a remarkable 22 year run with two different teams, the GOAT felt contented enough with his football life to explore new dimensions of fatherhood. However, the league has not had enough of him. 

Ever since the announcement of his retirement on February 1, the NFL world is in deep shock. The athlete that made them witness the most action-packed 22 years in NFL history has now parted ways with the sport. And many were left deeply hurt by it. It was hard to see an athlete still capable of winning the big game, let go just like that. Especially after his boastful dozes throughout the year, claiming his longevity in the league. 

However, it took no time that the rumors surrounding his return started to make rounds in the NFL town. Many fans and players are still under the impression that the GOAT will make a return in the league, it’s just a matter of time. His gridiron buddy tight end Rob Gronkowski himself believes so. 

Joe Montana wants more of Tom Brady

Recently NFL legend Joe Montana made headlines for the same. The 65-year-old veteran does not buy Tom Brady’s retirement as he believes that there is so much football left in the 44-year-old. The four-time Super Bowl winner said that Tom Brady was “crazy” to hang up his cleats though being in such an incredible shape, with such a good team.

“Look at the team he’s got, why would you want to leave that?” Montana said. “I don’t think it’s done yet. I don’t think that’s over with.”

“He’s still able to play at a high level,” Joe further added, “and the way his season ended for him, I would think that with the team he has, give it at least one more shot.”

The entire league has been hoping for the GOAT’s return. He might just have a good chance of making the Super Bowl again, judging by his last game where he almost made an impressive comeback win. But the question is; will he?
