Pro Football Hall Of Famer Shannon Sharpe is well known for some of his takes about Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady. The former 3-time Super Bowl champion added recently to his collection of wild takes the association of the legendary QB with a move away from the Bucs. While his claims seem a little too odd for some fans, it is not an unrealistic possibility in the NFL.

During a recent episode of FS1’s UNDISPUTED show, Sharpe made bold revelations about the 7-time Super Bowl champion. Sharpe states, “I don’t think he was very close at all… he was trying to get a way to Miami… But Tom Brady was 100 percent wanting to play.” The comments came following Tom Brady and his recent statements about how close he was to retiring.

The former Broncos TE believes that Brady took a rushed decision to retire after failing to go to Miami. He believes that Brady’s decision to unretire was not to play for the Buccaneers in the upcoming season but to play with the Dolphins. Sharpe adds that Brady never had any intention of not playing. He is finding it challenging to leave football and retire.
