The New Orleans Saints suffered a major shocker in Week Two. They were outplayed by the Derek Carr-led Las Vegas Raiders by a 34-24 scoreline on Monday night. Head Coach Sean Payton was disappointed by his team’s sub-par display and so was veteran quarterback Drew Brees. They will be out to prove a point when they face the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Aaron Rodgers has led his team to a 2-0 record at the start of the 2020 NFL season. He will be the player in focus as the Packers travel to the Mercedes-Benz Superdome for their second away game of the season.

Sean Payton’s New Orleans Saints eager to get back to winning ways

The New Orleans Saints face a tough challenge on Sunday in the form of the high-flying Packers. They will hope that quarterback Drew Brees regains his mojo after a forgettable outing against the Raiders in Week Two.

Coach Sean Payton will be without the services of WR Michael Thomas, who is still recovering. RB Ty Montgomery and DE Marcus Davenport will also miss out on today’s game.

It will be interesting to see how the likes of Alvin Kamara and others step up in the absence of key offensive players on the roster. This one is not going to be easy for the reigning NFC South Champions.

Aaron Rodgers-led Green Bay Packers looking to go 3-0

Head Coach Matt LaFleur has slowly and steadily stamped his authority on this Green Bay Packers team. Under his tutelage, the Packers are unbeaten in the league this year.

They are 8-0 up against NFC North teams since LaFleur’s appointment. The likes of Aaron Rodgers, Aaron Jones, Allen Lazard, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling have all thrived under their new coach.

This will be a good game for the Packers to assess how much progress they’ve made since 2019. However, LaFleur will most likely be without the services of star wide receiver, Davante Adams, who is dealing with a hamstring issue.

DL Kenny Clark is also listed as ‘doubtful’ for Sunday’s game at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

We have to say, we’ve been impressed by the Green Bay Packers since the start of the 2020 NFL season. They’ve scored 40+ points in both their opening games and we don’t see why they can’t do the same against a hurting New Orleans team this weekend.

Confidence is running high in the Packers’ dressing room at the moment. The situation is quite the opposite in their opposition’s changing room.

A battle between two veteran quarterbacks is always a delight to watch. So make sure you tune in on Sunday to catch this high-octane clash.
