The Pittsburgh Steelers finished the 2019 season with an 8-8 record. Much of that had to with an injury to their starting quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger, in Week Two.
The towering shot-caller suffered an elbow injury in the loss against the Russell Wilson-led Seattle Seahawks, which ruled him out for the rest of the season.
However, Roethlisberger is back to at full capacity and will start for the Steelers in their season opener against the New York Giants at the MetLife Stadium on Monday night. Joe Judge will also take charge of his first official NFL game as Head Coach to the New York-based outfit.

The 2020 season will be crucial for Head Coach Mike Tomlin as the Steelers look to recover from a lackluster 2019 outing in the league. The Pittsburgh-based franchise starts the season as underdogs in the AFC North Division.
Their performance in 2020 will be directly proportional to how ‘Big Ben’ performs in his comeback season.

The Steelers brought in FB Derek Watt from the Los Angeles Chargers and TE Eric Ebron from Indianapolis Colts in the offseason. They also acquired the right guard Stefen Wisniewski from the Kansas City Chiefs.
He will start on Monday night due to an injury to veteran David DeCastro. Rookie WR Chase Claypool from Notre Dame will also get some game time against the Giants in Week One.

The Giants had a miserable outing in 2019 under their former coach, Pat Shurmur. They finished the season with a 4-12 record. They will look to improve upon that under the rookie Head Coach, Joe Judge, over the course of this season.
Running back Saquon Barkley will once again be key for the Giants alongside quarterback Daniel Jones.
Jones had a decent outing in 2019 but desperately needs to reduce his rate of interceptions and fumbles. Barkley has over 2,000+ rushing yards in two years with the Giants.
He will be hoping to bag a massive contract next year and will look to put in another stellar display in 2020. If the Giants’ defense manages to shut out Roethlisberger, they might just pull off a win.

If everything goes as per plan, the Steelers should start Week Two with a 1-0 record in the league. Of course, if Saquon Barkley decided to wreak havoc all by himself, things might get messy at the MetLife Stadium tonight.
