While talking on the weekly ESPN Milwaukee radio show to host Jason Wilde, Rodgers clears the air about his sexuality, stating, “Yeah, I’m just going to say I’m not gay. I really, really like women. That’s all I can say about that.”

He considers all these rumors to not only be untrue and also a distraction from what he is trying to achieve on the football field. Rodgers adds that a clear divide should be kept between an athlete’s personal and professional life.

While the rumors surrounding the Packers’ QB in 2014 were baseless, the development of the situation was disturbing. According to Bleacher Report, it was ridiculous to put Rodgers under such a spotlight while returning from his injury lay-off and during the 2014 NFL playoffs. The outlet was looking to switch focus from unfounded claims to Rodgers and his performances in the league.
