NFL World Reacts to Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers’ Postgame Handshake

Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers are two of the greatest quarterback to have graced the game of football. While it is lucky to have witnessed their talents, to see them face off against one another is even more exciting. While the two are both fiercely competitive, they still have ample respect for each other.

On Sunday, Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers squared off in the regular season, while Rodgers and the Green Bay Packer came out on top. Winning a close match, Aaron Rodgers took to the field to shake hands with his counterpart, Tom Brady.

The two men shook hands and hugged each other as a sign of respect they garner for one another. This can never be a small moment in the NFL world. For sharing a video of the moment, Fox Sports NFL’s Twitter generated a lot of reactions.

Both the quarterbacks have a very devoted fan base. But as they show respect to each other, the fans also came to acknowledge the sportsmanship on display.

One fan wrote, “GOATS on the field,” reacting to the two.

When the two united on the field, it seems to have united some fans as well. A fan of Aaron Rodgers even came to the rescue of Tom Brady from an opposition fan.

This fan acknowledges the effort put up by both the teams who are struggling with the current squads they have at their disposal.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers fielded a receiving corps bereft of any real quality. They started off promisingly, with a long conversion and a few short ones. They could only manage to score a 45-yard field goal. The Green Bay Packers turned up for the 1st quarter with two consecutive scoring drives. Aaron Rodgers seemed unstoppable at the time.

However, as the game progressed, fumbles from both sides opened up the game for the opposition. Neither team took advantage of the mistakes made on the field. Tampa Bay answered by scoring another 45-yard field goal in the third quarter.

In reply to the drive, Aaron Rodgers threw an interception and gave the ball right back to the Bucs. But persisting with the theme of the night, they failed to make anything of it. With the score at 14-12 in favor of the Packers. The Bucs could only go for a 2-point conversion attempt. Failing to connect with any receiver, Tom Brady vowed out of the match and the Packers won after collecting an onside kick.
