Tyler Lockett trolled
The NFL World is talking about the Seahawks WR Tyler Lockett going down to avoid contact after the catch. And that has sparked a huge debate on NFL Twitter. Fans are trolling Lockett for being soft and giving up on the possible YAC (Yards After Catch) gain. For some, the whole generation is soft.

This fan does not like the trait.
When literally giving up is considered an admirable trait you know the futures fucked

But some fans defended the Seahawks’ wide receiver. These fans think that avoiding contact is a smart move. They say it can reduce injuries and elongate the career. This fan is all for the play.
Maybe I'm wrong but I feel Marvin Harrison did this quite a bit too, im sure others as well. I'm all for it, play smart.

Lockett’s play reminds this fan of NFL legend Marvin Harrison.
Reminds me of Marvin Harrison the second half of his career. I swear I never saw that man take a hit

There has been constant trolling, but it has sparked a great conversation around striking a balance between player safety and the show of passion.

“A lot of people could call you soft or whatever the case is, but they don’t understand the things that we see when you’re done playing football. When people talk about CTE or people talk about injuries and having to get all these different surgeries after they’re done,” Lockett said. He added that the players put their bodies on the line every day in the sport. “So just because you don’t make a first down doesn’t mean whatever the stuff is that people say,” the Seahawks WR said.
