The NFL world is still coming to terms with the freak incident that took the Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin into critical condition. As the fans anxiously pray for Hamlin to recover, they are coming up with new ways to show their support. The iconic Niagara Falls donned the Bills colors, and the NFL posted the number three as a sign of support on social media. The Hamlin family is certainly not alone in this.

Hamlin remains in critical condition. He is at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center after suffering a cardiac arrest on the field on Monday.

Signs of support all around the world 

The NFL showed its support for Damar Hamlin by donning the player’s number three on Twitter. The league’s official account sent out their prayers through a photo. It had the safety’s jersey number with ‘Pray for Damar’ written on it. 

“For Damar,” the NFL wrote along with the tweet.

On the other hand, the iconic Niagara Falls lit up in blue to show support for the Bills safety, who remains sedated. The landmark shined with blue lights on both sides of the border. Even the entire city of Cincinnati lit up in blue and red lights as a form of solidarity with Hamlin and the Bills.

The entire football world has embraced the Hamlin family in these anxious hours. And they have thanked the fans for all the support. “Your generosity and compassion mean the world to us,” they said to every fan, in a statement released on Monday, according to ESPN.

While the support pours in from the entire world, the NFL fans continued with their anxious prayers for Damar Hamlin. This fan hopes Hamlin wakes up to find the impact he has had in the world.

This fan wants a medical update on the Bills safety.

Hamlin collapsed on the field during the week 17 clash with the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday. During the first quarter, the Bills safety tackled the Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins and fell down. He tried to get up but failed. Medics rushed onto the field to administer CPR and then rushed him to the hospital, where he remains sedated in critical condition. The NFL called the game off for the day and the new date, if any, will come in due course.

The fans hope Hamlin wakes up soon and they see him on the field next season.
