The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have had a wonderful season. After acquiring Tom Brady, the franchise was galvanized, playing very differently from their prior seasons.
Brady was able to lead the Buccaneers to the Playoffs for the first time in 14 years. The franchise went on to win the Super Bowl. But they have already begun working in a bid to ensure that they retain their silverware over the course of the next season.
NFL analyst Nick Wright spoke about the Tampa Bay Buccaneers off-season so far. He noted that the Buccaneers were doing everything that the Kansas City Chiefs did after their Super Bowl win.

Bringing back the players that were very helpful during their run to the Super Bowl last season is a crucial step.
"The Bucs are doing exactly what KC did last year, bring everyone back. … The Bucs would be thrilled to be in the position the Chiefs were in — 14-1, rested everyone Wk 17 & back in the Super Bowl. This is what you're supposed to do if you're a SB champ." — @getnickwright pic.twitter.com/rZ2hA8qRVE

“The Bucs are doing exactly what the Chiefs did last year. They brought everyone back. The Chiefs last year re-signed Chris Jones, they gave Travis Kelce an extension.
“The whole thing was ‘run it back’. And I know Bruce Arians said, ‘That’s the Chiefs thing to run it back.’ But that is exactly what they’re doing.”

Tampa Bay Buccaneers reloading for next season
Furthermore, Wright added that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers would happily accept the season the Kansas City Chiefs had. “By the way, the Buccs would be thrilled to be in the position the Chiefs were in.
“The Chiefs were 14-1, rested everyone in Week 17, and were back in the Super Bowl. Then things went down in the Super Bowl, most notably on the offensive line.”

If the Buccaneers were given that scenario, Wright believes that they would take it in a heartbeat. In addition, Wright believes that the Buccaneers are doing the right thing, and what they should be doing as the Super Bowl winners.

“If you can tell the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, ‘Guys, we will give you the Chiefs’ season from last year. The regular season, forget the Playoffs.
“And then it’s choose your adventure from the Playoffs.’ They will take that in a heartbeat. So I think this is what you should do if you’re a Super Bowl champ.”
