Colin Kaepernick, the ex-NFL quarterback, has been striving to re-enter the league for the past couple of seasons. He has been proactively posting workout videos across various facilities to gain his fair shot in the league. The athlete had some league support, as Seahawks HC Pete Carroll has been quite vocal about the QB’s chance of redemption. The franchise even hosted him for a workout, advancing into some progress to fill the vacant QB1 position. However, Shannon Sharpe isn’t a fan of Carroll’s constant rattle over Kaepernick.
The athlete ultimately got a slight breakthrough in football. In recent times, Jim Harbaugh, Colin’s former coach, has named him the honorary captain of Michigan in this weekend’s Maize and Blue Springtime Game. Apart from the sport, he has been active in his secondary ventures. Before news erupted, the quarterback announced his new children’s book’s release date as well.

Kaepernick, who helped the 49ers reach Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans, played his last game in the year in 2016. During his career, he threw for 12,271 yards, 72 passing touchdowns, and 30 interceptions. Kaepernick was a second-round choice of the 49ers in 2011 and originally rose to prominence as a second-year replacement for Alex Smith, displaying dual-threat ability.
The 2022 offseason has seen a scarcity of quality quarterbacks in the league. Teams like the Seattle Seahawks and Indianapolis Colts lack in the Qb1 position after they trade Russell Wilson and Carson Wentz, respectively. Colin has been striving to get a return to the league, conducting several on-field workouts for scouts, including one with the Seattle Seahawks earlier this month.
