Lamar Jackson has been out with a knee injury. The 25-year-old was taken off in the game against the Denver Broncos on the 4th of December. Since then, the player has not participated in any of the regular season games or any team practices. While the people around the team believed that Jackson- not playing in the remaining games will help him recover just in time for the playoffs. But now things are looking rather pessimistic around the Baltimore Ravens.

NFL insider claims Lamar Jackson faces an uphill battle

The Ravens are preparing to take on their divisional rivals and defending AFC champions, the Cincinnati Bengals. Besides a superior offense, John Harbaugh the Baltimore HC will also have to deal with the fact that they might be without their first-choice QB.

NFL insider Ian Rapoport has revealed that Jackson is not as far ahead in his rehabilitation as people expected him to be by now. “Not looking good for Lamar Jackson, which is a bit of a surprise if you look back. Dec. 4 was the last time he played, battling a PCL sprain.” Rapoport added.
