Aaron Rodgers and the Packers are going through a regular-season nightmare. Their playoff chances look negligible after their fifth straight loss and the sixth of this season. The veteran QB expressed his concern on The Pat McAfee Show after the loss to the Lions at Ford Field.

The Green Bay Packers no.12 is struggling with his offense. This was evident in the 15-9 loss to the Detroit Lions on Sunday. Aaron Rodgers knows there are holes to fill, but his biggest concern for the rest of the season is injuries. “Obviously, this last week was not only painful to lose a game, but we lost some key players as well,” the Super Bowl champion said.

What is wrong with A-Rod and the Packers?

Aaron Rodgers‘ worries compounded in the game against the Detroit Lions. It wasn’t just the 15-9 loss to the worst-ranked defense in the league. A-Rod is more concerned about the number of players who had to be sidelined because of injuries on Sunday. Packers GM Brian Gutekunst didn’t make any acquisitions in the trade deadline and head coach Matt LaFleur didn’t run the ball enough. However, that’s not as big as losing key offensive and defensive players, according to Rodgers.

Receiver Christian Watson left the game after suffering his second concussion this NFL season. “We lost some key players as well. Not just in the game, but maybe for extended time.” the 4X NFL MVP said.

Can Aaron Rodgers make a comeback like the 2016 season?

Aaron Rodgers is a 10-time Pro Bowler and is undoubtedly one of the most gifted quarterbacks to ever play the game. However, this season is not going so well for the 38-year-old. Rodgers threw 3 interceptions over 291 yards against the Detroit Lions and set a single-game interception high in his career. All three interceptions happened within 25 yards of the Detroit end zone, with one hitting the helmet of a Detroit safety.
