Russell Wilson is not riding his time in Denver. The Broncos QB1 did not prove himself as a success after falling 2-4 in the season. Wilson is getting a lot of heat with his performance, but a new commercial featuring him acclaimed national criticism. However, a famed media personality had some contrary thoughts about DangeRuss’ latest commercial, making him feel hungry.

The Denver Broncos quarterback became the one to feature in a Subway commercial. Wilson created a TikTok video in May to introduce the new addition to Subway’s Vault menu. The Asterisk advertised the ‘Dangerwich’ sandwich. Nevertheless, the viewers called out his cringe-acting. But Colin Cowherd gave some honest thoughts on the commercial.
Colin Cowherd mentioned, “There’s a new commercial out. New commercial campaign. It’s about a month old at subway sandwiches. I just saw the latest version on social media. I love it. I think it’s probably doing a bang-up job for subway sandwiches. I’m watching the commercials and you’re not sure if Russell knows he’s a little cringey but thinks it’s funny.”

The Dangerwich debuted around the Super Bowl month. They designed the commercial to be in such a way that the audience felt as if they were speaking directly to Wilson. But it did not attract many people. It came back into the limelight after the QB’s abysmal performance in recent times.

The Dangerwich by Russell Wilson got off the brand’s list
Russell Wilson’s signature subway was on the Vault’s list and had various sporting celebrities’ selects. However, the delicious-looking sandwich ads got pulled off social media platforms. Moreover, Twitter users pointed out that the sandwich with a lot of exotic items also did not stay on the list.

According to The New York Post, the ‘Dangerwich’ came off Subway’s menu in August. They merely removed it to make room for some newer dishes. The Subway representative assured customers that the sandwich would be available again soon. The reports added that QB Trevor Lawrence’s ‘Sunshine Sub’ is also missing from the list, but Marshawn Lynch’s Beef Mode is still in it.

It is yet to see if the Wilson special sandwich returns to the Vault.
