Colin Kaepernick is long gone from the NFL. Many consider the former Niners quarterback to be a polarizing personality, as well as a great hero. However, it has now been years since he’s played professional football. Now, he has been making a case for his return. Even though Colin has been a highlight of many offseasons, will any NFL franchise, especially the Dallas Cowboys, go for him?

Since the beginning of the 2022 offseason, Colin Kaepernick has been trying to achieve his goal. With his workout videos and impromptu throwing exercises, Kaepernick is working hard to establish his position. While they have stalled the talks with Seattle Seahawks, he still stands by his words of being a commendable and achieving athlete.

Does Colin Kaepernick stand a chance in Dallas?

During the Undisputed: Skip and Shannon show, host Skip Bayless makes up a hypothetical situation. The situation was a ‘What If?’ moment featuring Colin Kaepernick being the backup quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys.

He mentions, “Let’s say that they signed Colin. And in game three, Dak had a game like he had against the Denver Broncos when they fell behind 30 to nothing early in the fourth quarter. Do you realize what the outcry, the swell of public sentiment would be for Colin Kaepernick to replace Dak Prescott? That’s what Jerry wouldn’t want to have to live with or fight through, because obviously, Colin has a very strong part of the NFL fandom who would be very pro-Kaepernick.”

If Jerry Jones does not alter his opinion about Colin Kaepernick, these beliefs may persist. Jones referred to Kaepernick’s public exercise as a “circus” in 2019, and that’s precisely what could have been if Kaepernick landed with the Cowboys. Even though many fanatics may believe that Dallas and Colin are a splendid match, the chances look quite slim.
