Both players have been tight for a major part of their playing careers. Landry and Beckham Jr. were dominant during their college years at LSU and had a brief team-up together with the Browns. Their relationship grew stronger in Cleveland because they both respect each other on the field as well as off the field.

They both find themselves in a similar situation as they are soon-to-be-free-agent wideouts. OBJ was seen touting Landry’s skills and his great personality in the locker room to the interesting franchises in the league.

There seems to be an option for Landry with the 2021 Super Bowl champions, the Los Angeles Rams, who might look for another wideout. With Robert Woods making a comeback and OBJ in a race against time to get fit, the Rams could consider Landry as a viable pick-up. It is sure to be an interesting couple of weeks for Landry, who has a lot of opportunities waiting for him during free agency.

Is Odell Beckham Jr. right about Jarvis Landry?

Landry was the Browns’ clear No.1 WR following the departure of OBJ from Cleveland. The franchise QB Baker Mayfield always counted upon Landry as the main passing outlet and one of his trusted men on the roster. During their 12 games last season, he ended up recording 570 receiving yards on 52 catches that resulted in two touchdowns.
