It has been a full season since Odell Beckham Jr took the field in the NFL. He won the Super Bowl the last time he started a game. But a serious injury made him sit out without a team for the entire 2022 season. And now, the explosive wide receiver is looking for a fresh landing spot before the start of the next season.

Quite a few franchises were interested in OBJ during the last season, but nothing materialized. And now he stands confused between his fiancee’s roots and a second shot at the Super Bowl with Patrick Mahomes.

Odell Beckham Jr still has a lot of admirers in the NFL. The 2022 Super Bowl champion hasn’t yet decided on his next home but there are some factors that may help him make up his mind. The biggest question he will ask himself is, what does he want out of his next team?

The Dallas Cowboys came close to signing him last season. Though that move fell through, Jerry Jones will still want a proven offensive outlet on the team’s roster. And OBJ’s fiancee might be the key to tilting the balance in the Cowboys’ favor. Lauren Wood is dating the WR since 2019 and the couple has a child together. And above all, the fitness model is from Texas so OBJ might just tilt in the Cowboys’ favor.

Another potential landing spot for OBJ is the Kansas City Chiefs, who recently won the Super Bowl and are in search of a wide receiver for the upcoming season. With JuJu Smith-Schuster’s departure, there is an opportunity for them to sign OBJ and potentially provide Mahomes with the weapon he needs to further assert his dominance in the league. Additionally, joining the Chiefs would give OBJ a chance at a second Super Bowl title, following his stint with the Los Angeles Rams.

So which side will he choose? Whatever his decision, any team would love the idea of getting one of the best receivers in the NFL.
