Kyle Shanahan on Lance

However, head coach Kyle Shanahan said that the anointment isn’t to state Lance as their starter, “Our starting QB is out, and if he was 100%, he’d be starting.” Evidently for Shanahan, Lance, as a starting QB isn’t the ideal decision to make just yet, but in the absence of Jimmy, he seems to be in a pleasing form.

As for the rookie, it is a golden opportunity to prove his worth and what he can accomplish even against unbeaten teams like the Cardinals. Although along with Lance, Nate Sudfeld also steps up as the QB2 in the Week 5 roster of the Niners in case the Lance trump card doesn’t play out as planned.

However, Lance being a competitive young QB, won’t let the moment slip out of his hands. He will be planning to take the Cardinals by surprise and seal a much-needed win for the San Francisco 49ers.
