Fans mourn the death of Bud Grant

The Vikings shared the passing away of their legendary head coach Bud Grant on social media. The Hall of Famer had taken the Vikings to four Super Bowls during his career as a head coach from 1967 to 85. He had retired as the 8th most successful coach in NFL history with a glorious record. During his 28 seasons as a head coach, he took the Vikings to the playoffs twenty times, ten championship games, and four titles.

Fans took to social media to mourn the loss of the Vikings icon, as there were tears shed throughout the NFL world.

The death of Bud Grant marks another black day in the NFL. Throughout his career, Grant expressed nothing but respect for his players. This was also the reason they respected him as their coach. Grant cared about every player on his team as an individual. He did not look at them as statistics, but as human beings with a heart and emotions. He always invested in his team on and off the field.
